Some of us may remind Amazon in 2018, when was discovered that the tool was, occasionally, discriminate woman. Why an enterprise, interested in women, shoud use a tool (AI trained ? The algorythm is unknown and dismessed) that can discrimante them ? We can call it simply a bug. Or we can reflect and our debugs. Now Amazon hilights his new manual, human, recruitment process. It seems conversational, aided by a chatbot. The idea is to compose the cv in real time inside the HR team in a way it can't discriminate. If we look at other entities, we can remind GDPR avoid the use of contents in social networks to evalute a human resource. NYT develops a tool to find bias (in contents). The fight against fake news improved new initatives also in Italy, mainly in the newspaper's contexts. There's still a matter of methodology. Curiosly many undervaluate the DSA and the GDPR (AI act is arriving) and the solutions they address to enterprises. In the middle the market of Food delivery faces the courts and how they manage deliviries. On the public point of view, italian tax agency (AdE) developed a very complex and intrusive software manage by an intrusive managed by statisticians and apex figures among those who handle litigation and recovery of fees that offices presumptively deem inadequate. So the battle is just started, but we can't predict how it will involve in a better digital democracy. Or just in more digital divide.
