The European Parliament is increasing its pressure on the EU Commission to present clear and realistic measures to reduce carbon dioxide emissions before the end of the year, and to boost the share of renewable energy.

“This proposal will be adopted together with the green house gas reduction and the emission trading schemes proposals. We will continue the integrated approach to ensure consistency between policies and create synergies between them."
