Ricordo tuttavia che la polizia di confine aveva preso l'uso di correggere i database.
E' bastato cambiare un codice, e nessuno sa più le relazioni tra i familiari divisi.
Così sono spariti bambini a centinaia.

On Oct. 2, the Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general released a report which stated that “DHS struggled to provide accurate, complete, reliable data on family separations.”

"The ACLU has not undertaken an independent data investigation, and instead has had to rely on the numbers provided to us by the government. Thus, this data may well undercount the number of children who were separated or contain other gaps."
Ecco la genialata, voltarsi da un'altra parte: "The efforts to reunify separated families have been marred by poor record-keeping since they began in the summer of 2018. That is in part because the practice of separating families as a deterrent to the thousands of migrant families arriving at the border was at first introduced covertly; even the federal agencies that became involved, such as the Department of Health and Human Services, which was responsible for housing separated children, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which took custody of the parents, were not fully informed ahead of time." fonte
