Buona lettura.
The new tech: the new direction of the net and the information system.
Holidays can help very much.
Thinking different is really useful.
In this moment i'm writing this text on my MacBook connected with my Nokia with an high speed Umts connection.
Simply last year would be impossible for me. Now is reality.
Without cables and with the sea on the left on my bed, I'm at home in Versilia, in Italy, surfing the web is something really new.
Something undiscovered before.
Some great guys are often in my mind: Robin and Giulio of MasterNewMedia. I've discovered them in english, and i've read them in english for years, when finally i've discovered they're italian like me.
I was thinking of their statistics. Many users, 1,5 page views for users. Great earnings for them.
So I've checked my stats, on analytics as well. Quite the same, more pages for users (2,5), less earnings.
Robin and Giulio talk to the world. I talk, until july 2008, to italian readers about laws, and laws of the internet.
I trust them, and i hope they appreciate me.
So i'm thinking to increase their earning, developing a tool also for them.
A tool that spider their site, make an index of news with thumbnails and tags for every post.
And even grabs their external links, to create a great directory.
It is possible, even from remote, even without apis.
Spidering. Indexing. Creating clouds for them, related contents for every tag (and dinamically updated) from my server, with their subdomain, for example.
Then i surf the twitter world. A Monitter site offer news on what i want, without the need of an rss reader, without the need to find the websites to follow.
It is all on twitter. Here in Versilia I discover someone is looking for a house in Milan, and in Milan is raining again.
There's no need of a blog, neither a site, on twitter.
I can post, talk of my life, of my work, find partners in Europe, find friends and follow them.
Twitter search engine is in real time, without the need of google news neither technorati or digg.
Twitter is no fast. Great external functions use their api and develop their world.
Someone use Twitter to bookmark sites, to comment sites.
Twitter can do all the things we know, in a different way. Faster, easier, smaller.
A news scroller tell me what happens in Los Angeles, and I have no need to browse a newspaper.
On twitter everybody can talk with others. Directly. No domains, no sites, no blogs. IT IS web2.0.
And ... money ?
